LiveScan Digital Fingerprinting

02

Open from 10am to 5pm for walk-ins and all other times for appointments, the Palo Alto Live Scan service provides courteous and efficient services. LiveScan is an inkless, electronic means of capturing fingerprints in a digitized format and then transmitting them to the California Department of Justice and/or the FBI. Previously, fingerprints were taken by applying ink to each finger, then rolling each finger on a fingerprint card. This method was inherently messy and prone to capturing poor image quality. By processing fingerprints electronically, criminal history responses can be provided within a matter of hours if received electronically or 3 -5 days if received by mail. Services are available at our site or yours using or mobile operators.

Ink Fingerprint Rolls

To be fully available to the clients served, we still offer the traditional ink fingerprint service. Fingerprint Cards are usually supplied by the applicant, however blank cards are available for a small additional fee. Services are available at our site or yours using or mobile operators.

All applicant fingerprint submissions are transmitted electronically to the Department of Justice. Live Scan technology allows digitally scanned fingerprints and related information to be submitted electronically to the Department of Justice within minutes and allows fast processing of criminal background checks.

Our technicians are trained and certified by the Department of Justice. You can rest assured that you’ll receive the highest quality work and best possible results when dealing with Live Scan Palo Alto.
